Facts and Markets

A fact is a specific, verifiable statement about your brand that you want AI to get right: a price, a plan, a feature, an integration, where you are based or who you serve. Brand Alignment checks AI answers against your facts one by one, in the locations you choose for each.

Accessing Facts

Go to Brand Alignment › Setup › Facts. The slot count at the top shows how many of your fact slots are in use.

Adding Facts

Open Add facts and choose:

  • Add Fact to write one yourself: the fact, its category and subcategory, and its locations
  • Add Category to group facts, such as Pricing & Plans or Product & Features
  • Suggest Facts to draft facts from your Brand Profile and website

When Asky suggests facts, you pick the language they are written in and the locations to check them in. Suggestions only use facts your own sources state, and they are added to your facts straight away, so edit or delete any you do not want.

Write each fact as one statement that is either true or false, such as “Plans start at €99 a month” rather than “Affordable pricing”. Specific facts get precise results. For how you want to be described overall, use the positioning statement in your Brand Profile, which Asky compares with each engine’s description of you.

Locations and Language

Each fact has its own locations: the countries it is checked in. Choose the countries where the fact matters, such as a price that only applies in Germany, or a feature you sell everywhere. When you add a fact, your brand’s main market is already selected; add or remove countries as needed. Asky can check facts in 46 countries.

A fact is written in one language, and Asky asks about it in that language in each of its locations. To check a fact in another language, add it again in that language.

Use Change Locations in a fact’s menu to add or remove countries. A country that no fact uses any more is no longer scanned.

Questions

You never write the questions. Shortly before each scan, Asky writes questions for each new or changed fact, in the fact’s language, and asks them on each engine you track in each of its locations. A fact you add today is first checked in the next scan.

Asky also asks each engine to describe your brand, in each location your facts use. Those answers feed How AI positions you and your attributes, and they never use fact slots.

Editing, Pausing and Deleting

  • Edit Fact changes the wording freely until the first scan has measured it. After that, only small edits such as typos are allowed, so its results stay comparable over time. To change what a fact means, delete it and add a new one.
  • A fact can be paused from Edit Fact. Paused facts stay in your list, keep their slots and are left out of future scans.
  • Delete Fact stops checking it and removes its results from every scan, past ones included. Deleting frees its slots.
  • Move to… moves a fact to another category, and Bulk Edit acts on several facts at once.

Attributes

Setup › Attributes lists the traits engines associate with your brand, such as Easy to use or Expensive. After your first scan, Asky finds up to 15 of them in the answers. You can add, rename and remove attributes, up to 30 in total, and each one is tracked with its sentiment from scan to scan. Attributes describe how you are perceived; facts are what you check for accuracy.

Fact Slots

One fact in one location uses one slot. Scale and Momentum include 30, and once your plan is paid, owners and admins can add more with Add more next to the slot count, up to 100 in total on Scale and 300 on Momentum. A brand can track up to 100 facts at a time. See Plans and Fact Slots.
