MCP Server
Connect AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible tools directly to your Asky data. Ask questions in plain language and get answers from the same data your dashboard shows.
Ask your AI assistant about your brand’s AI-search visibility and get answers from your actual Asky data. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and any other MCP-compatible tool.
What you can do
- Track your brand visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, including sentiment and average rank
- Benchmark against competitors on share of voice, visibility, sentiment, and position
- Analyze your sources to see which domains and URLs AI engines cite most for your topics, and find pages that cite competitors but never mention you
- Check brand alignment down to the individual claim, so you can see exactly what AI gets wrong about your brand and gather the evidence to fix it
- Inspect AI bot traffic from your access logs, grouped by bot, path, or time bucket, to see how often ChatGPT, Claude, and others fetch your pages
- Dig into prompts to see how each tracked question performs over time and read the actual AI answers behind the numbers
- Review your indexed website pages and how they perform as citation sources
- Surface next steps across content gaps, technical issues, and social discussions, then follow them in your task tracker
- Read your content drafts from the Asky library
- Understand fan-out by inspecting the sub-queries engines run before they answer
How it works
Connect
Add the Asky server URL to your AI tool. See the setup guide for your platform.
Authorize with your Asky account in the browser. This only happens once.
Ask questions
Ask in plain language and the assistant chooses the right tools for you:
- “Where did our AI visibility move this week, and which engine slipped?”
- “Across our tracked topics, who is winning share of voice and by how much?”
- “Find pages that cite our rivals but never mention us.”
Connection details
Your tool may ask for these details:
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Server URL | https://mcp.askylabs.com/mcp |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
| Authentication | OAuth |
Authentication
Your AI assistant opens an Asky consent page in your browser. Sign in with your normal Asky account and click Approve to grant read access. The session persists across conversations, so you only do this once per tool. There is no token, key, or secret to copy or paste.
The consent page shows which application is requesting access, and you can switch accounts if needed.
Read-only access
Every Asky MCP tool is read-only. Tools can read your data but can never create, change, or delete anything in your account, and there are no write actions of any kind. Each tool is flagged readOnlyHint: true, so your client knows it is safe to run.
This means you can let an assistant explore your data freely, without worrying that a question, a typo, or a misread instruction could alter something. See Tools for the full list of what the assistant can read.

- Cursor
- VS Code (GitHub Copilot)

See the setup guide.
