Fixing What AI Gets Wrong
Finding a wrong answer is half the job. For each statement marked Contradicts or Partly contradicts, Asky looks at the source the engine cited, or at your own pages when it cited none, prepares the fix that fits, and checks in later scans whether the engines change their answer.
Where to Find Fixes
Expand an answer and select a contradicting statement: the fix Asky prepared sits next to the evidence. All fixes are also in Opportunities, ranked with the rest of your work by how widely the error spreads: how many engines, countries and answers repeat it.
One fix can cover many answers. When several engines repeat the same wrong statement from the same page, Asky prepares one fix for that page.
How Asky Chooses the Fix
| What the evidence shows | What Asky does |
|---|---|
| One of your own pages is wrong or out of date | Corrects the field, block or component that carries the statement and publishes the change to your CMS |
| Your site never states the fact | Writes the missing page or section from your facts, ready to publish |
| A third-party page says it | Drafts a correction request to the page’s publisher, with the quote, the correct fact and your own page as proof |
| A Reddit or LinkedIn discussion says it | On Momentum, drafts a reply that adds the correct fact, for you to review and post. On Scale, the discussion is listed with the correct fact for your team to answer |
| The engine cites no source | Makes sure your own pages state the fact clearly, updating or creating the page engines are most likely to find |
| Engines miss or reshape your positioning | Prepares updates to the pages that carry it, such as your homepage and About page |
| Engines confuse you with another brand | Strengthens how your site identifies you: a clear About page, consistent naming and Organization structured data |
| The engine is right and your fact is out of date | Flags the fact, so you update it instead of correcting a right answer |
Asky decides which pages are yours from your domains. If a source is marked wrongly, change it under Cited sources.
Fixing Your Own Pages
With Webflow, WordPress or Sanity connected, Asky edits the page in place. It changes only the field, block or component that carries the wrong statement, keeps the rest of the page as it is, and reads the change back after publishing to confirm it landed.
The new text follows your brand voice and writing style. It states only facts you have set or confirmed, never the wrong statement it replaces, and you can add confirmed product details before Asky writes.
You decide how far Asky goes:
- For your approval: Asky prepares the change, shows the old and new text side by side, and publishes when you approve. This is how fixes work on Scale.
- Automatically, within your rules: on Momentum, fixes to your own pages can publish without review, within the rules you set, such as which pages and fact categories Asky may correct on its own. Everything outside your rules waits for approval.
Without a connected CMS, Asky prepares an update brief with the exact change, ready to paste into your site.
When your site does not state the fact anywhere, Asky starts a content workflow for the missing page or section, such as a pricing FAQ or an integrations page, grounded in your facts and Brand Knowledge.
Correcting Third-Party Pages
You cannot edit a review site, directory or roundup, but you can ask its publisher to. Asky drafts a short, polite correction request: the exact statement on their page, the correct fact, and a link to your own page that states it. Edit the message if you like, send it from your own email, and mark it as sent.
Asky then checks the page again in the following scans and marks the request done once the wrong statement is gone. On Momentum, discussions on Reddit and LinkedIn get a drafted reply instead, which you review and post yourself, following each community’s rules.
Tracking Each Fix
Each fix shows where it stands:
- Drafting: Asky is preparing the change, page or message
- Ready for review: waiting for your approval or for you to send it
- Published: the change is live on your site, or the publisher updated their page
- Monitoring: later scans are checking whether engines changed their answer
- Reopened: a later scan still finds the wrong statement, so the fix needs another look
You can cancel a fix at any time. A fix that cannot go ahead, for example because the page is no longer connected, is marked Blocked with the reason.
Measuring the Result
Every scan asks the same questions again, so each fact shows per engine and country whether the answer changed after the fix went live. Engines refresh their sources at their own pace, so a correction can take more than one scan to show, an engine may keep its answer, and a third-party change depends on the publisher.
