Losing Discussions
Losing Discussions shows you social conversations where competitors are being mentioned and recommended, but your brand is nowhere to be found. These are visibility gaps happening in real time. Stepping in lets you claim your share of the narrative before AI search engines settle on competitor-favoring answers.
Accessing Losing Discussions
Go to Opportunities → Losing Discussions in the sidebar.
Losing Discussions focuses on conversations where a competitor is recommended and you are absent. For the broader feed, see Discovery Feed; for ones AI is already citing, see Recently Cited.
Why These Matter
Every conversation where a competitor is recommended and you are not is a small head start for them. The sooner you join with something genuinely useful, the better your chance of being part of the story AI tells about your category.
What You See
Each row is a discussion where one or more competitors appear without you, along with its platform, a short description, and the competitors involved. The list covers a recent rolling window so it reflects what is happening now.
Engaging Well
Because a competitor already has the floor here, lead with a sharper, more specific answer than theirs. The same engagement etiquette applies, see Engaging Well on Recently Cited. Add a discussion to your Task Tracker so it gets a considered response.
